Meet… Ahmet!

We would like to introduce you to Ahmet Acar, 27 years old, a systems administration graduate. Before his career at GROSC, Ahmet worked at a Benelux agency, where his responsibilities included IP rights and all-round system administration.

Team Grosc

Ahmet has been part of team GROSC since June 2024. The telecom industry is new to him, but despite the unfamiliar industry, as a Junior Engineer he is eager to apply his problem-solving skills and develop further within the company. Over the past few months, Ahmet has focused mainly on obtaining various certifications and familiarizing himself with the systems and reports coming in. “I feel very much at home here. It’s not a family business, but it feels that way. Everyone helps each other.”

Critical thinking

Ahmet describes himself as a morning person. He prefers to start before 8 a.m. When he arrives at the office, he always starts the day with a cup of coffee. Together with two or three other colleagues who also start early, this is how he starts up together. After taking a seat at his desk, he opens his laptop and checks to see if any new reports have come in.

What he likes most about his work at GROSC is finding the problem. “You have to think very critically: why is this the way it is? There is not a roadmap for every report that you can follow to solve it.”

The upcoming period for Ahmet is all about completing all the necessary certificates. For example, he will soon go to England to obtain a number of certificates at Mitel.
